Nakita Jackson is the owner and founder of Optikal Illusionz LLC and a proud native of Portsmouth, Virginia. She’s also a full-time nurse and graduate of ECPI University in Newport News. Nakita balances her passion for healthcare with her creative vision as an entrepreneur. She’s a devoted mother of three amazing children Kylah, Saniyah, and Jonathan Jr. She finds strength in her supportive family and close circle of friends. Guided by love, faith, and purpose, she continues to inspire others through her work, compassion, and creativity.

A book signing is more than just an autograph. This is a chance to connect, share stories, and celebrate the power of words with readers face to face. During each signing event, I take time to engage with guests and answer questions about my writing journey. Every signature carries a personal message of appreciation and connection because I believe every reader is a part of the story.
Story Time Workshop: Create Your Own Book
Spark your imagination and let your creativity shine! During this interactive workshop, I lead a joyful story time followed by a guided activity where each child creates their very own mini book. We explore characters, settings, and feelings. Afterwards, the kids will write, draw, and assemble a keepsake they can proudly take home.
